On Friday, May 26, 2017, the Kiwanis Club of Mansfield was honored to award Tiffany Hang, a Senior at Mansfield Summit High School with the Bob Noel Scholarship, a $1,500 scholarship she can use to continue her education. Tiffany was also recognized by the Club as the October 2016 Student of the Month earlier this year.
Tiffany plans to attend TCU next fall and is interested in pursuing a career in epidemiology – the study of diseases. She is currently unsure whether her future will take her to medical school or the pursuit of a doctoral degree with a research emphasis.
Tiffany was also elected as a Trustee for Key Club International (KCI) in July 2016 at the Key Club International Convention in Atlanta, GA. As a Trustee, Tiffany sat on the KCI Board with the KCI President, KCI Vice President and 10 other Trustees to guide and direct KCI, the oldest and largest service program for high school students. Prior to her election as KCI Trustee, Tiffany served two years as the Lt. Governor for Division 39S.
Tiffany has crisscrossed the country representing KCI with visits to the Kiwanis International Headquarters on 5 occasions, Chicago, IL, Harrisburg, PA, and Salt Lake City, Utah over the last year. Tiffany’s term as Trustee will end at the KCI Convention to be held in San Antonio in July.
